Make sure all the work is done before you close a task. 

ClickUp can warn you before you mark a task as closed when there are open subtasks, unresolved comments, or incomplete checklist items.

You can customize the items to be warned about.

You can choose which Spaces should display the warning. Tasks in selected Spaces will display a warning about the same types of unresolved items.

Anyone who tries to close a task in a Space where the ClickApp is activated, and where the task has the selected unresolved items will see a warning prompt.

Activate the Incomplete Warning ClickApp

To activate the Incomplete Warning ClickApp:

1. Open the App Center.
2. From the App Center's left sidebar, click All ClickApps.
3. Browse or search for the Incomplete Warning ClickApp.
4. Click the toggle to activate the ClickApp.
5. From the first dropdown menu, select which items to warn about:

   • Subtasks: Warn about subtasks that haven't yet been closed.

   • Checklists: Warn about checklist items that haven't been completed.

   • Assigned Comments: Warn about assigned comments that have not been resolved.

6. You can use the second dropdown menu to enable the ClickApp in specific Spaces.
