Use Brain MAX Home in the Chrome extension

Access previous chats, connect apps, and more when you open a new tab. Brain MAX Home is a feature of the Brain MAX Chrome extension.

Open Brain MAX Home

After downloading the Brain MAX Chrome extension, you'll automatically open Brain MAX Home when you open a new browser tab if the Brain Home Tab setting is activated.

Chat and search

In addition to the customizable chat capabilities of the Brain MAX Chrome extension, you'll see intelligent page recommendations below the search bar in Brain MAX Home.

Access previous chats

To access previous chats:

  1. Open a new browser tab.
  2. In the upper-left corner, click the sidebar icon.
  3. Your recent chats are listed in the Chats section of the left sidebar. Talk to Text searches are not listed in this section.
  4. To view all of your past chats, click Show all at the bottom of the section.

Search previous chats

To search for a previous chat:

  1. Open a new browser tab.
  2. Hover over the left sidebar and click the search icon at the top.
  3. Type a keyword or phrase.
  4. Results are automatically filtered.

Connect an app

To connect a new app:

  1. Open a new browser tab.
  2. In the left sidebar, click Connections. 
  3. Below the app, click Connect.
  4. Sign in to the application to authorize access.

Access and customize cards

Customize your Brain MAX Home experience to save even more time!

The following cards can be shown or hidden:

Card Description
Top sites Access your most-visited sites.
Calendar After you've connected your Planner, you can see today's events on this card.
Recents Access your recent tasks, Docs, and assets from connected apps.

To show or hide Home cards in Brain MAX Home:

  1. Open a new browser tab.
  2. In the lower-right corner, click Edit widgets.
  3. Check or uncheck cards you want to show or hide.

Switch Workspaces

To switch Workspaces:

  1. Open a new browser tab.
  2. At the bottom of the sidebar, click your Workspace name.
  3. Select a new Workspace.

Show or hide the sidebar

When you open a new browser tab, the left sidebar is open by default.

Hide the sidebar

 To hide the left sidebar:

  1. Hover over the left sidebar.
  2. At the top, click the sidebar icon.

To show the left sidebar again, click the sidebar icon in the upper-left corner.

Sign out

To sign out of your ClickUp account:

  1. At the bottom of the sidebar, click the settings icon.
  2. Select Sign out.
