Prompting best practices for Brain
A good prompt includes what you want done, what information to use, and what the result should look like.
For example, "Summarize all overdue design tasks from this week, group them by assignee, and turn the result into a bulleted action plan."
Use natural language
Talk to Brain like a coworker, using full sentences instead of keywords.
You can also use one-shot workflow prompts. For example, "Create a launch brief from the attached Doc, turn the action items into tasks, and draft a follow-up message for the team."
Specify exclusions
Task C was due this morning. It's a Marketing task and is not as urgent as the others. You can ask Brain to exclude this task.
Exclusions are also helpful in larger multi-step prompts. For example, "Find all overdue tasks assigned to Design, exclude blocked tasks, and group the rest by Sprint."
