Share your Goals and set permissions for them. Choose who can see your Goals and their permissions.

What you'll need

• Goals cards are available on all ClickUp plans.

• You can set unique permissions that just apply to Goals and Goal Folders.

• Workspaces on the Free Forever Plan can use Goals 100 times.
• Workspaces on the Business Plan and above can use Goal Folders.

Make a Goal private

1. From the Sidebar, select Goals. If Goals aren't pinned to your Sidebar, click More and select Goals. 
2. Open a Goal or Goal Folder.
3. In the upper-right corner, click Sharing & Permissions.
4. To the right of your Workspace name, click the toggle to off.

Share a Goal

You can share a Goal or Goal Folder with anyone in or outside of your Workspace. To share with someone outside of your Workspace, you'll have to invite them.

To invite a person from outside of your Workspace:

1. From the Sidebar, select Goals. If Goals aren't pinned to your Sidebar, click More and select Goals. 
2. Open a Goal or Goal Folder.
3. In the upper-right corner, click Sharing & Permissions.
4. Into the Invite field, type their email.
5. Click Invite.
6. The person will receive an email prompting them to join your Workspace.

1. From the Sidebar, select Goals. If Goals aren't pinned to your Sidebar, click More and select Goals. 
2. Open a Goal or Goal Folder.
3. In the upper-right corner, click Sharing & Permissions.
   • From the Share modal, click the Copy link button.
   • Share the private link with people or Teams who already have permissions.

To share with individual users or Teams by inviting them:

1. From the Sidebar, select Goals. If Goals aren't pinned to your Sidebar, click More and select Goals. 
2. Open a Goal or Goal Folder.
3. In the upper-right corner, click Sharing & Permissions.
4. From the Share modal's Invite field, type the name or email of the person or Team. 
5. From the dropdown to the right of their name, set their permissions.
6. Click the Share toggle.

Guest permissions

Guests with Edit permissions can:

• Edit Goals.
• Create, archive, and edit Targets.
• Add tasks and Lists to a Target.
  • Guests can only add tasks and Lists if they have access to them.
• Move Goals into and out of Goal Folders.

Guests can't:

• Create or delete Goals.
• Create or delete Goal Folders.
• Delete Targets.
