You can create Custom Fields at the Space, Folder, or List level. We recommend the following Custom Fields for recruiting:

Custom Field type Description Example
Date A custom date and time. Use a Date Custom Field to keep track of the date that each of your job postings was published.
Dropdown Choose from a customizable list of options.

Use Dropdown Custom Fields to display information such as:

  • Department
  • Interviewer's Recommendation
  • Overall Impression
  • Region
  • Rejection Reason
  • Request Category
  • Stage
Email A formatted email address. Use an Email Custom Field to keep track of the contact information for each candidate.
Files Upload files from your device or cloud storage services. Use a Files Custom Field to store each candidate's résumé in their task.
Labels Choose from flexible list of options, similar to the Dropdown Custom Field.

Use Labels Custom Fields to display information such as:

  • Location
  • Role
Money A formatted amount of money in any currency.

Use Money Custom Fields to display information such as:

  • Compensation
  • Desired Salary
People Select people or Teams in your Workspace for each task.

Use People Custom Fields to display information such as:

  • Hiring Manager
  • Requestor
Phone Select people or Teams in your Workspace for each task. Use a Phone Custom Field to keep track of the contact information for each candidate.
Text area (Long Text) Enter a paragraph of plain text. Use a Text area Custom Field to store the candidate's response to the interest question on the job application Form.
Website Capture the URL of any website. Use Website Custom Fields to display any URL, such as a LinkedIn profile or professional website.
