Automatically send ClickUp notifications to your Discord channel and customize which notifications you receive.

What you'll need

• The Discord integration is available on every ClickUp plan.
• You need to be an owner or admin to manage integrations.
• You can only integrate ClickUp with one Discord server at a time.

Enable the Discord integration

To enable the Discord integration:

1. In the lower-left corner, click your personal avatar.
2. Select Integrations.
3. Select Discord.
4. Click Add to Discord.
5. Select a Discord server and click Continue.
6. Grant ClickUp access by clicking Authorize.

Authorize ClickUp

When authorizing, a popup appears requesting access for ClickUp to do the following:

• Access your username, avatar, and banner
• Know what servers you're in
• Create commands in a server

This permissions request needs to be accepted for the Discord integration to function.

Enable Discord notifications

To enable Discord notifications:

1. In your Notifications settings, scroll down to Discord Notifications.
2. Click + Add notification.
3. Select a ClickUp Location.
4. Select a Discord Channel.

• Note: You can only post in channels that are accessible to the person who set up the Discord. It's not possible to select Announcement channels.

Note:Tasks in Multiple Lists only create Discord notifications when you include the home List in the selected location.

Customize Discord notifications

To customize which ClickUp notifications are sent to Discord:

1. In your Notifications settings, scroll down to Discord Notifications.
2. On the right, click the settings icon.
3. Enable or disable the following notifications:

• Task Created
• Status Changed
• New Comment
• New Attachment
• Assignees Changed
• When I am mentioned

Disable the Discord integration

Only Workspace owners and admins can disable the Discord integration.

To disable the Discord integration:

1. In the lower-left corner, click your avatar.
2. Select Integrations.
3. Select Discord.
4. Scroll down and click Remove Discord integration.
5. Click Remove to confirm.
