ClickUp Labs lets you try experimental features before they're released to everyone. You choose which features to turn on or off, and you can leave at any time.
For a limited time, all Workspaces can try new features in ClickUp Labs. Plan availability, feature pricing, and packaging may change as ClickUp Labs evolves.
All user roles can join ClickUp Labs.
ClickUp Labs is available on the browser and desktop app.
Join ClickUp Labs
Joining ClickUp Labs is a personal setting. It doesn't turn experiments on for anyone else in your Workspace, and Workspace admins can't turn ClickUp Labs on or off for other people.
To join ClickUp Labs:
- In the upper-left corner, click your Workspace avatar.
- Select Settings.
- In the All settings sidebar, click ClickUp Labs.
- Click Join ClickUp Labs.
By turning on ClickUp Labs, you agree to the Labs terms. Your Labs setting is personal and applies in every Workspace you're in.
Choose a preview tier
Experiments are grouped into tiers. Alpha is for explorers who want to experience features first and don't mind rough edges. Beta is for people who want new features early, once they're more polished.
To choose a tier, select Alpha or Beta under Preview tier.
Turn experiments on or off
New experiments are on by default while you're in Labs. Each experiment has a short description of what it changes, and changes apply after you reload ClickUp.
To turn an experiment on or off, click its toggle on the right.
To watch a short video about select experiments, click Watch next to it.
Leave ClickUp Labs
To leave ClickUp Labs, toggle off ClickUp Labs at the top of the page. All experiments turn off with it.
Share feedback on an experiment
To share feedback on an experiment, post it on ClickUp's feedback board at clickup.canny.io.
Stop the background animation
To stop the page's background animation, click Turn off effects in the upper-right corner.
