Chat or search with Brain

To start a new chat or search with Brain on the Brain MAX mobile app:

  1. Open the app.
  2. Ask Brain questions about anything, search your Workspace, connected apps, or the web.
    • Optional: Transcribe your voice by tapping the Talk to Text icon.
    • Optional: To upload a file to your search, tap the plus icon. Select Camera, Image, or File.
  3. Tap the search icon.

For example, you could search What meetings do I have scheduled this afternoon? or Find me the Google Drive files related to release 2.1.3.

Quote part of Brain's response

To copy a quote from Brain's response and paste it into your current draft:

  1. Highlight the text.
  2. Tap Quote.

Change AI models

Max is the dynamic AI model used by default on the Brain MAX mobile app. You can change the AI model to ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.

To change the AI model you're searching with on the Brain MAX mobile app:

  1. Tap the Brain icon.

  2. Select a different model.

Mention assets in a chat

You can mention assets like tasks, Lists, Docs, and people in your chat on the Brain MAX mobile app.

To mention assets:

  1. Type @.
  2. Type a name, keyword, or phrase from the asset. Results are automatically filtered.
  3. Tap the asset.
  4. Add any additional context to your request and tap search.

View previous chats

To view your previous Brain chats on the Brain MAX mobile app:

  1. From the left side of your screen, swipe right to open the sidebar.
  2. Your recent Brain chats are listed in the Chats section. To view all of your past chats, tap Show all at the bottom of the section.

Search your previous chats

To search your previous chats:

  1. From the left side of your screen, swipe right to open the sidebar.
  2. At the top, tap the search icon.
  3. Type a keyword or phrase. Results are automatically filtered.
  4. Tap any result to open the chat.

Share files to Brain MAX on iOS

Upload a file to your conversation from outside the Brain MAX mobile app on iOS devices.

To share a file with the Brain MAX mobile app on iOS:

  1. Tap the sharing icon to open the sharing menu.
  2. Swipe through the apps until you see the More option.
  3. Tap More to open the Apps modal.

  4. Browse for and select Brain MAX.

    To add ClickUp to your favorites, tap Edit, then tap the plus icon next to ClickUp. To prioritize ClickUp when sharing items on your device, tap and drag the drag handle to the right of ClickUp.

  5. Add any additional context to your draft and tap the send icon.
