The ClickUp Google Chat (previously Hangouts Chat) integration makes it easy to be notified about activity on your tasks!
Note: In order to use bots like ours with Google Chat, you must be using a work or school Google account. Check out this Google support answer for more info.
How to Add ClickUp to Google Chat
Note: Only ClickUp Workspace owners and admins can perform this action

Visit Google Chat

Click the
+
beside "Bots" in the sidebar -
Select the ClickUp Bot

Click
Add to room

Select your room

Click
Add

In the automated message, click
Link with ClickUp
to connect your ClickUp account
Alternatively, you may @ClickUp
in a message or search for ClickUp
in the main search:
Google Chat Notifications
Instantly send notifications about ClickUp tasks to the Chat room of your choice.
Creating a New Notification

Select the
Hangouts
integration -
+ Add Notification

Specify the Space, Folder, and List you want notifications from

Chose which Room you want these notifications to go to
Here are the types of notifications ClickUp provides:

Assignee changed

Status changed

New attachment

New comment
Remove the Google Chat integration
Only Workspace owners and admins can disable the Google Chat integration.
To disable the Google Chat integration:
- In the lower-left corner, click your avatar.
- Select Integrations.
- Select Google Hangouts.
- Scroll down and click Remove integration.
- Click Remove to confirm.
