Delete templates

Need to tidy up your templates? Consider deleting the ones you no longer need.

What you'll need

  • Task templates are available on every plan.

  • Guests only have access to templates for tasks, Docs, views, checklists, and Whiteboards.

  • Guests with edit or full permissions can delete templates.

Delete a template

Make sure your team doesn't need the template anymore. Once you delete a template, it can't be recovered.

  1. Open the Template center.

  2. Select the template.

  3. From the Template modal, click Delete Template.

  4. You'll be prompted to click Delete again or Cancel.

  5. Your template will be deleted.
