Card settings

Each card has different settings. Some settings require more explanation than others.

Make sure you have all the info before using the following settings:

Filters on time-based cards

Some cards display task data over time, while others act as a snapshot of the current moment.

Time-based cards display the historical data of tasks that currently meet your filter criteria.

For example, a task that is currently urgent priority may have been high priority last week, so you'll see both priority levels in the chart.

Intervalle de temps

This setting includes two dropdowns that determine the period of time the chart reports on.

This dropdown: Select a time range for the x-axis from the following options:

ThisYearDropdownDashboardCardsOverview.png

  • This year, This month, or This week: Select a time range of this year, month, or week.
  • Range: Select a custom range of dates.

By dropdown: Select a time range for the y-axis data points from the following options:
DashboardCardOverviewByDropdown.png

  • By days, by weeks, by months: Select to view y-axis data by day, week, or month for the time range selected in the This dropdown.

You will only be able to select time range combinations that make sense. For example, This week and by months would not be possible.

In the example below, the y-axis data is Tasks. The tasks are grouped by Status, which is represented by the different-colored lines. The x-axis is This year. When you hover over the data points on each line, you see how many tasks were in that priority on the first day of that month.

Screenshot of a Line chart set up as described in the tex above. The cursor hovers over the orange line at a data point between June and July. The pop-over reads: Thursday, June 1 In progress: 16.

In this example, at the end of the year, you would need to go to your settings and manually reselect the time range.
  • Select Choose rolling period... if you want the card to continue to report on the same relative time period between 1 and 365 days.
ChooseRollingPeriod.png
For example, you set the rolling period to 5 days and by days. Then the chart continually displays the criteria chosen for the y-axis for the previous 5 days with each day as a data point.

Période d’échantillonnage

When Sample period is available on a card, it's used with Time range.

For example, you create a Lead time card. This card displays the average amount of time it takes a task to be completed after it's created. You select a Time range of This week and by days and a sample period of Last 2 days. The Lead time chart will display all tasks created this week, by days. The data points will reflect the Lead time for all of the tasks as of today and yesterday.
