Columns in Docs, Notepad, & Descriptions
Have you heard?👂 We just launched Docs 3.0 for a new and improved Docs experience! But we're nowhere near done! We'll be launching new Docs features every month. Kicking us off this month is Columns! 🆕
Columns are the perfect way to organize your content. 🤓 Whether you're looking to stylize your Doc like a newspaper or blog, more easily visualize your long checklists, or create engaging side-by-side layouts, Columns can do it all!
Beyond Docs, Columns are available in Task Descriptions and Notepad too!
To get started, type the /Slash Command
/cols or drag and drop a new text block to the right or left of an existing text block. When creating your Column via Slash Command, we offer a range of simple layouts to choose from to make things easy. To resize the width of your columns, adjust using the drag handles between columns. Similarly, reorganize your content into different Column blocks by selecting a text block then dragging and dropping to rearrange!
Columns operate the same as any other text block--you can drag and drop a block anywhere on the page, duplicate it, delete it, and turn it into a different format all with the click of a button. You can also align and justify your column text in addition to applying rich editing such as bullet points, banners, bold text, and more!

Deleted items (like Docs or Attachments) will now load automatically in task views 🤖
Workspace Session Management
Keep your Workspace secure! Now, any admin or owner can set session duration and idle timeout duration limits to ensure your work is protected at all times. 🔒
To set session/idle timeout durations for your Workspace, open your Workspace's Security & Permissions settings and select the duration that works best for your team. When the session duration limit is reached, members will need to log back in to continue working. For idle timeout limits, members will be prompted to stay logged in prior to being auto-logged out for inactivity.
Note: Session management is only available on our Enterprise Plan.
More task details for time entries now available via API
Need to know more info about the tasks associated with your team's time entries? We've got you covered. 😎 Now, you can add task location details to our GET Time Entry API calls including the Space, Folder, and List IDs.
Our new API parameters include task tags in addition to Space, Folder, and List names. You can also use a location filter to get time entries for a specific Space, Folder, List, or task!
