• All ClickUp AI use is subject to the terms of our fair use policy.
• Future restrictions may apply to ClickUp AI features.
• ClickUp AI usage limits may change as we assess usage and costs.
• ClickUp AI is not available in certain countries. See the list of countries where AI is not available at the end of this article.
• A Workspace owner or admin must activate Chat to use Autopilot Agents in Chat.

Manual uses, Talk to Text uses, and Autopilot AI actions

Your usage of ClickUp AI is either a manual use, Talk to Text use, or an Autopilot AI action. The uses and actions available for your Workspace vary depending on whether you're on our AI trial or which ClickUp AI add-on you've purchased. 

• Manual uses: These uses are manual. They require human intervention. For example, using AI Writing, Manual AI Fields, or searching using Brain MAX.

  Learn which user roles can access AI Fields.

• Talk to Text uses: Based on your ClickUp plan, you will have a set number of Talk to Text trial uses. Usage is measured by the number of words transcribed.

  Purchase Talk to Text as an add-on for unlimited fair use of the feature.

• Autopilot AI actions: These actions are configured by someone in your Workspace and then happen automatically or autonomously. For example, ClickUp Autopilot Agents and Automated AI Fields.
• Some AI features respond both automatically and through human interaction. These features are counted as Autopilot AI actions.

ClickUp AI is activated in all Workspaces on a trial basis.

How are Autopilot AI actions tracked?

Autopilot AI actions trial and paid add-on actions are calculated per user per month.

For example:

• My Unlimited Plan Workspace has 2 people.
• Unlimited Workspaces get 50 Autopilot AI actions per user per month.
• Since we're a Workspace of two, we have 100 Autopilot AI actions per month.
• If Member A uses 60 Autopilot AI actions, Member B can use 40 actions.

Where are Autopilot AI actions tracked?

To see how many Autopilot AI actions you have left:

1. In the upper-right corner of a Chat, Space, Folder, or List, click the agent icon.
2. At the bottom of the AI Agents modal, click Manage agents.
3. Select the Usage tab.
4. Scroll to the AI actions section.
   

When do Autopilot AI actions reset?

Autopilot AI actions reset at the start of each month. 

Access by user role

All user roles can only use ClickUp AI Agents from locations and items they can access and have full or full edit permissions for.
