Intro to Sprint cards

Sprint reporting cards are used to build custom Dashboards so you can report on and visualize your team's sprint progress.

The new Velocity, Burnup, and Burndown cards offer improved accuracy and performance enhancements! The other legacy cards will eventually be replaced by the new Sprint cards.

Widgets were renamed to cards on March 9th, 2023.

What you'll need

Sprint card types

Use Sprint cards to report on tasks in a Sprint Folder, including Tasks in Multiple Lists, Subtasks in Multiple Lists, and Nested subtasks

Just like other Dashboard cards, you can do the following with Sprint cards:

Velocity, Burndown, and Burnup cards are organized in the same way. The cards calculate the same data in different ways to create a whole picture of your sprint from planning to completion.

Velocity cards

Use Sprint Velocity cards to accurately plan your team's upcoming Sprints.

Burndown cards

Use Sprint Burndown cards to accurately visualize the amount of work being completed in one sprint. See at a glance if your team is on track.

Burnup cards

Use Sprint Burnup cards to track scope change over the course of one sprint. See at a glance if your team is at risk of not completing the sprint's estimated work.

Cumulative Flow

See your tasks' status progress over time. Different colors represent different statuses so you can identify bottlenecks as work progresses.

Cycle time

This card displays how long on average it takes a task to be completed after it's started.

Cycle time is measured in one of two ways. If you're using the Not Started ClickApp, the card calculates the start from the moment a task enters any status in the Active Status Group.

If you're not using the Not Started ClickApp, the card considers the first status in your Active Status Group as Not Started, and any other task in the Active Status Group counts as the start of cycle time.
